All appointments other than antenatal scans for pregnant women with diabetes will be conducted by telephone or NHS attend anywhere

The current UK Government advice is that those over 70 years old should avoid social contact, and the Trust is experiencing significant levels of corona virus (COVID-19) activity.

Your diabetes clinicians feel it is safer for you to discuss your diabetes care over the phone OR we can rebook your appointment after 1.7.20 rather than coming to the diabetes centre.

This is being applied to all diabetes appointments .All appointments other than antenatal scans for pregnant women with diabetes will be conducted by telephone or NHS attend anywhere. Please call us at any time if you have concerns – the EBDC is still open and keen to support people with diabetes, but face to face appointments are suspended except for emergencies until at least 17.4.20 and potentially until 1.7.20
